This month's Grange Heirloom:

“Our Fraternity, being agriculturally based, family oriented and dedicated to the pure principles of equality under Constitutional Law, we appeal to all good citizens for mutual cooperation and assistance toward reform that we may remove from our midst the last vestige of inequity and corruption. We believe that harmony, equitable compromise and earnest cooperation are essential to future success.” – Grange Declaration of Purposes

Be sure to share the Grange Heirlooms with your Grange and community, to help teach what the Grange stands for.

Every Tuesday this month, we are bringing you a Grange "Pro-Tip" to help local Granges promote the Grange.

This week's Pro-Tip:
🔹 The National Grange emblem isn’t just a symbol of our history and values—it’s also a registered trademark. 🔹

That means the Grange name, emblem, and identifying marks are legally protected through the United States Patent and Trademark Office, helping ensure they are used appropriately and consistently across the country.

Why does this matter? Protecting our trademark safeguards the integrity of the Grange, preserves our identity, and ensures that when communities see our emblem, they can trust it represents the mission, service, and advocacy we stand for. That little ®️ protects our brand in the larger world.

We encourage Granges to use the National Grange emblem - in proper form - in their marketing. However, altered logos, including those created by AI, directly violate the trademark we have long protected and that has marked us as a trusted voice across the country for over a century and a half.

For more information about proper use of our trademarked logos, check the April 10 issue of the Grange Today! newsletter at https://www.nationalgrange.org/grange-today-e-newsletter/.
